SUNSHINE STATES

In spite of the weather men's predictions we had an half decent summer this year, oh how we Brits love to discuss the weather! But it's always good to go somewhere that can be sure of a good supply of warmth and sunshine, and where better than the sunshine state Florida. So here's just a small selection of images featuring their special brand of weather, what you don't get is the 90F !

First an ancient boathouse viewed whilst on the scenic boat tour of three of the lakes in the original part of Orlando known as Winter Park one of the many seen as we viewed the homes of the rich and famous, shown here in suitably toned sepia. The second picture is of the beatifully detailed part of the Seaworld park known as Seaport. Our third picture takes us to another park, this time Disney's Hollywood Studios and the Tower of Terror - this is as near to it as I got ! Now back 'home' to the clubhouse at Vista Cay our home from home away. Next the Orangery foodhall at the Mall of Millenia, not real trees of course! Finally back to our block at Vista Cay in glorious black and white ( I liked the contrast of trees and the straight lines of the buildings)
